The Centre’s Vision is to be a leading centre which excels in providing prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services for addiction

The Centre’s Mission is to provide outstanding addiction-related prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services which cater for the needs of all categories of society while upholding and respecting moral standards

Patients can contact the Centre in order to get an appointment or inquire about treatment by calling free toll: 8002252, through the NRC’s website www.nrc.ae, downloading the app NRCUAE

Patients are kindly requested to book an appointment before turning up at the Centre in order to avoid waiting

The Centre receives patients at its outpatient clinic from Sunday to Thursday from 7:45 am until 3:00 pm. There are also after hours sessions available at the outpatient clinic on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 7:00 pm

The Centre is located in Shakhboot City behind Al Mafraq Hotel. The Centre could be reached through location coordinates using Google Maps

The NRC provides treatment for addiction free of charge to the nationals of the UAE. Non-UAE nationals residing in the UAE can have access to treatment against a charge which vary according to the treatment programme and the patient’s medical case

Addiction is considered as a treatable chronic disease. There are a number of factors which determine the patient’s disposition to recovery such as use start date, number of years spent using, type of substance used and comorbidity. With the development of science, there are several treatment programmes which proved to be efficient in the treatment of addiction

The Centre provides a multitude of treatment programmes from which a patient can choose what suits him according to his health condition

The Centre does not provide emergency services nor does it deal with overdose intoxication. In such cases the patient needs to head to emergency units in general hospitals to receive the appropriate treatment

In case a treatment requires that the patient stays in the Centre all the necessary requirements for a comfortable stay shall be provided

Confidentiality is one of the paramount principles at the NRC
